Story
Dear friends and family,
Finding a cure for melanoma is close to my heart as you all know. Each year I set myself a goal to raise funds for Melanoma Research. Its my way of helping others who are fighting Melanoma, and also in the hope that no one has to go through losing someone to Melanoma like my family has. James was supportive of going into a trial drug during his treatment and as a family we believe trials can only happen with funding and sadly participants who are going through stages of Melanoma.
I need your help with a donation, big or small. If you can spare a few dollars, just click on donate. If you would rather not donate and would like to support me by walking with me, this year the March will be at the beautiful Newcastle foreshore. To walk , you can register online through the March page, or come along Sunday 18th March between 8 and 8.30am for registration of $25 per adult. There are also concessions for children, families, elderly. The March will start at 9am and will be finished by noon. It is around 4-4.5kms round trip returning to the start. There are lots of activities on the morning as well, raffles, music, speakers, coffee, food.
If you wish to help me raise funds, click on Join Team, which will take you through the registration process and receive your own link which then you can ask your friends to support / sponsor or donate to you as well which will go towards our overall Team Target "In Memory of James". All Donations are sent directly to Melanoma Institute Australia.
Every little bit helps to reach my target.
